Introducing Snacktivities!
It is an exciting day for the Snacktivity Mom family today. My fabulous website — designed by my fabulous and supportive husband Bryan and his colleagues, Laurie and Mohammed — is making its debut. This was a long time coming, most of that in the thought stages. But now that the website has been designed, we are hoping to be launched by the Spring.
This is a companion site to my familyadventuremom.com. However, instead of outdoor adventures, snacktivitymom.com will deal with inside fun with the family and food! Healthy eating is a passion of mine. With two growing children, it would be easy to fill the kitchen with prepackaged snacks. I have found that for not that much more time and probably less money, once you factor in the cost of snack size bags, you can make a healthy and fun snack from fresh ingredients. It is also a great way to get some veggies and fruits into the kids!
So, I hope you try the recipes! Email me photos of your projects at deb@snacktivitymom.com. We will post some of the photos for others to see. Feel free to use your creativity when modifying the recipe. It’s a great way to add family favorite ingredients or get your kids to try something new. Hey, it is only a snack!
